In pedology we have to study the soil pedology. There are two segment of soil properties one is chemical and other one is physical and biological. In chemical the most important it is pH values. PH values deal with the amount of acidity or alkalinity in the soil. it's also indicate the quality of soil and its productivity.

pH factor expresses soil properties. pH is best on relative concentration of of active hydrogen ions ( H+) . With increasing concentration the acidity will increases and pH value decreases.

  • Lotosols soils
  • Brown forest soil
  • Brown Podzols
  • Podzols
  • Prairies soil
  • Chestnut soil
  • Brown soil
Lotosols means this soil is is a type of laterite where pH values is neutral. will going below the 7 acidity have more concentration and this type of soil called brown forest soil. Brown forest soil is more acidic than Lotosols. Acidity is more in the forest region because the plant and their leaves have more acidic more acidic character. 

Another Smile Group is grey Brown Podzols found in Taiga forest where there is also plant and forest and last having maximum acidity is Podzols soil in the Northern Land Of The Tiger forest. 

Now from neutral to increasing alkalinity this while group are prairie soils. Prairie means temperate grass land. More alkalinity found in chestnut soil which is also found in temperate regions like Mediterranean climate. Soil having maximum salinity is brown soil which is found in the hot desert region which are very much saline.
