How to deal with panic attacks and anxiety

Let me start by saying that none of us are perfect no matter how hard we try to be. Fearing about anything in your life is completely normal until and unless it doesn’t overpower you. All of us have dealt with anxiety and fear in our lives and all of us have and we all have our ways to spiral out of it. We need to remember that sometimes it’s all in our mind and we need to get that out from there. Today we are going to share some simple ways to prevent panic from spiraling out of control.

1. CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE AND FACE IT

We love stories so I a little Storytime. Once I had a major exam coming up in a month. I wasn’t prepared for it and I was scared of it like anything. Used to wake up in the middle of sleep and cry about it. It was affecting my health. Then one day I asked myself these questions myself:

how bad it can go? Is it the end of the world?

Surely it wasn’t right. These questions helped me a lot. I got sound sleep at night and was prepared to face anything that happens in the future. I know for some people it may seem an irrelevant situation. I am not going to say that what you think and feel is wrong but sometimes your mindset can be harmful to yourself only. I feel like every one of us will agree that what we think affects us not only mentally but physically also. Sometimes we just need to change our perspective of seeing a situation and face whatever comes after, let me tell you this habit will change your life.

2. STOP BEING IN FUTURE OR PAST AND COME BACK TO PRESENT

I always say stop thinking about your past because you can’t change it or about your future. After all, you have no hold over it. What we think reflects on us, and overthinking does no good to us. So, bring your attention back to the present and focus on things that are around you. Stop getting lost in unnecessary thoughts.

3. COME UP WITH A SCHEDULE THAT DOESN’T GIVE TIME TO YOUR

MIND TO WANDER AROUND.

I know it might sound a little lame but trust me, it works. You start having disturbing thoughts if you think about something for a long time. Engaging yourself in activities that tire your brains does gives you time to have thoughts that are not beneficial for you.

I will end this by saying that all of us have different struggles and we can find an end to things that deteriorate our mental and physical health. Talking about what you feel helps you a lot. It’s always good to talk about your problems with a professional or someone that wants to help you.
